I screen printed the patches then ironed them on and secured them by outline embroidering around each patch. Sewing a piece of geometric fabric to the back of the jacket, I embroidered around it to secure it in place, as well as balance out the overall visual effect.
Still a work in progress, this shirt will be sold along with other works of various forms during the 2018 West Austin Studio Tour. My mom and I will be exhibiting work from many local artists at our studio, the Rabbit House Studio, which is how we will be listed in the 2018 West Austin Studio Tour Catalog.
